I was harassed by the valet parking, they would not leave me alone and refused to let me enter my room till they had my key. I was parking off campus due to work reasons but they wouldn't let me. My vehicle is a work vehicle and im the only person legally allowed to drive it. They still insisted

Starting off with the good, the staff was sweet, helpful, and welcoming. The cafe was delicious. The ease of check in was great. Valet was helpful and speedy. The bad was the cleanliness of our room. When you initially walk into the hotel it’s pristine and clean. Our room was otherwise. There was dust build up on the bathroom door. The shower definitely wasn’t cleaned between us and the last guest as there was things on the floor of it. Our bedding looked like it was just put on from the last guest. There was dried blood on my blankets, fresh stains on my pillow cases and pillows themselves. Overall a good stay, but the cleanliness was not great.

No towels or room cleaned . Had to call front desk late returning hospital late.

This hotel is conveniently located very close to the Cleveland Clinic. The shuttle to/from the Clinic is very appreciated. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfy. Unfortunately, the hotel is strongly perfumed with air fresheners which are very prevalent in the common areas, including the elevators. If you have any type of fragrance sensitivity or if you care about your health, this hotel is not the best choice. We had to limit our time in the commons areas due to this. It caused us to cough, wheeze and become congested. Yes - fragrances are harmful to health and have been linked to longterm issues like cancer, reproductive harm, hormone disruption and asthma. They contain chemicals such as phthalates and VOCs. Please, Holiday Inn, do better and protect the health of your customers.
