About This Event
The race takes place in Edgewater Park.The race is relatively flat and fast. It provides a scenic view of downtown Cleveland and its major landmarks as well as great views of Lake Erie.Just like the marathon, the half marathon features a relatively fast and flat course, great volunteer support and a scenic view of downtown Cleveland and its major landmarks. The course has been designed for our athletes to enjoy views of Browns Stadium, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, Lake Erie and many other Cleveland highlights. The 13.1 mile course mirrors the first half of the marathon course through mile 12. Half marathoners will turn off at that time, but finish at the same location as the marathoners.All half marathon runners and walkers will receive a goodie bag, T-shirt, and a PDF results book that will be posted online after the race. Half marathon finishers will receive a unique finishers medallion with an electric guitar that spins.
